Ecological surveys: Mapping the habitat of Rock hyrax helps us control  the Leishmania (a species of flagellate parasites) that infects humans. this is a main part of  the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection  on long range planning in order to decrease the rate of the disease in Israel.
